Complications.

All of the families know about the wedding. Well, at least most of them do. I told my dad and Shae told his mom and those were the two biggest ones to tell. I sort of feel lost and unorganized and like I am just getting no where. But to be honest, I don't care if our wedding day isn't as extravagant as I am hoping it will be. Just being married to the man I love will be perfect enough for me.

Today, people were saying that I should just stay home after Shae and I get married. It really irritated me. I am already expecting to stay home for a month or so after he leaves for his duty station but only because I won't be on his orders, we will need to get/find a house, and deal with all of the paperwork. But they didn't mean just wait a month or so, they mean wait MONTHS. They made it seem like I should just live at home the entire time he is in the army because I will be alone and have no friends or family. The thing is, I don't think of it like that. I think of it as being married to the most amazing man that I know, to the man I want to spend the rest of my life with, and starting our future together. I am willing to pack up all my stuff and start over. I am choosing to live this lifestyle because this is what my future husbands lifestyle is currently. I loved him before he even joined the army and we have always always made it work no matter what lifestyle we were living just like we will do now. I am quite aware that there is always the chance for deployment and other training where he will be away. But I will be in school, I will have a job and I will have our life to take care of at home for whenever he comes back.

I don't understand how people can NOT understand. I guess I am just really tired of all the negativity and un-needed opinions because after all, the decisions are up to Shae and I. This is our life and our future.

I didn't die or anything. I am back!

I have been neglecting my blog it seems. Actually, that is an understatement. Whatever happened to me doing the 30 day challenge? Don't worry, though, I plan on finishing it. I just figured I would do a little update on my life. When I get my new phone next month I am going to be doing much more blogging and adding pictures and all of that. I want to be able to look back on my life next year, and all the years to come. It's something I have always wanted to do. I want to keep an archive of the events happening and the ones to come.

Anyway, as far as life as of lately, Shae and I had our 3 year anniversary two days ago on the 19th. It was just an ordinary day. He had class so I didn't get to talk to him all day, and when he got done with class I was at work. So we barely even got to get in much talking. We exchanged a few really sweet text messages and he got my card and letter in the mail. He tried sending me flowers and having them delivered but it didn't work out. That is okay, though, because I know if we were able to spend it together, he would have treated me like a princess.

Other than that, I've been working my ass off. My brother will be here in eight days! He gets a ten day leave before he leaves for his duty station in Okinawa, Japan. His best friend Pederson will also be coming with him. It should be really fun and exciting. Really bittersweet, though. I am not quite ready to say goodbye to him. I am really proud of him.

It's been fifty days since I have seen my handsome soldier. Fifty long days. I know it doesn't seem as though it has been that long, but it sure feels like it. I still have twice that amount of time before I see him again. I am just so ready to get married and move and live our life together.
