Day 08 - A moment you felt the most satisfied with your life
I can't say an exact moment. I can say there have been multiple moments. Especially within the past two years. When I was going to school at OIT I was completely satisfied with my life. I was really happy and ready to do great and prepare for the career ahead of me. I had great friends, a great boyfriend and a lovely family. I was very satisfied with the way things were going. Unfortunately, I did not end up getting into the Nuclear Medicine program and had to switch to a nonexistent plan b.
Another moment I have felt satisfied with my life is right now. Maybe not this exact moment, only because I have had a really bad day. But, I am satisfied with how things are going. I am going to school, I am with the most amazing man of three years. I am waiting for him to come home to me so we can get married and we can start our lives together. I am working at Target and am paying off my medical bill debt and have started paying my school loans. I am quite satisfied with everything going on. I am unbelievably happy and excited.

I didn't die or anything. I am back!
I have been neglecting my blog it seems. Actually, that is an understatement. Whatever happened to me doing the 30 day challenge? Don't worry, though, I plan on finishing it. I just figured I would do a little update on my life. When I get my new phone next month I am going to be doing much more blogging and adding pictures and all of that. I want to be able to look back on my life next year, and all the years to come. It's something I have always wanted to do. I want to keep an archive of the events happening and the ones to come.
Anyway, as far as life as of lately, Shae and I had our 3 year anniversary two days ago on the 19th. It was just an ordinary day. He had class so I didn't get to talk to him all day, and when he got done with class I was at work. So we barely even got to get in much talking. We exchanged a few really sweet text messages and he got my card and letter in the mail. He tried sending me flowers and having them delivered but it didn't work out. That is okay, though, because I know if we were able to spend it together, he would have treated me like a princess.
Other than that, I've been working my ass off. My brother will be here in eight days! He gets a ten day leave before he leaves for his duty station in Okinawa, Japan. His best friend Pederson will also be coming with him. It should be really fun and exciting. Really bittersweet, though. I am not quite ready to say goodbye to him. I am really proud of him.
It's been fifty days since I have seen my handsome soldier. Fifty long days. I know it doesn't seem as though it has been that long, but it sure feels like it. I still have twice that amount of time before I see him again. I am just so ready to get married and move and live our life together.

Scorpio.
I got a little behind on the 30 day challenge so I am going to post one more for the night.
Day 07 - Your zodiac sign and if you think it fits your personality.
My zodiac sign is a Scorpio. Honestly, I don't follow zodiac related stuff. I used too all the time but I guess I have taken one too many psychology classes to see the logic behind it. No matter what you read, there is always going to be some part of you that can relate.
I am going to google the personality of a zodiac and I will tell you if I think my personality fits it. Just for shits and giggles.
Well, astrology.com was right about one thing, "Fearless Scorpios rarely lose; they just keep on going, since they are stubborn and determined to succeed."
I mean sure, there are many traits in there that are relevant to me but I wouldn't say I am a die hard Scorpio personality. I just don't believe it.

Deleted day 05.
The topic was "A time you thought about ending your own life."
I posted a really long response to this. It felt good to vent and let all my skeletons out but I didn't feel comfortable having it publicly displayed on the internet.

This doesn't make sense.
Day 04 - Your views on religion
I don't think about religion. I just live my life. I believe there is a higher power out there and I believe that even if there isn't a God, living a life full love and faith isn't a bad way to live.
I don't know if that made any sense.
I guess what I am trying to say is, I live my life every single day, one day at a time. Some days I feel like I believe in God and other days I don't. I don't let religion shape my every day life and I don't pray to a God like many people do.
I don't know. I am still trying to figure out my views religion.

Rant on drugs and alcohol.
Day 03 - Your views on drugs and alcohol
I don't necessarily have particular views on them. I say be responsible and have some control when using drugs/alcohol for recreational use. I absolutely cannot tolerate the obnoxiousness or "I'm too cool for school" attitude for doing either or. Doing drugs, and drinking alcohol most certainly do not make you more awesome than anyone else.
With that being said, I grew up with an alcoholic father. I hated alcohol and swore I would never drink it, due to the traumatic experiences I had growing up. I also swore I would never do any sort of drug due to both my mom and dads addiction to methamphetamine and various other drugs. I didn't have parents for most of child hood and I ended up playing the mother role for my brother. I grew up way too fast and because of that, I always said I would never let myself be like them.
It's crazy how easily your mind can change. I started experimenting with alcohol my freshman year and after awhile I started smoking pot. Then there were other substances I would come across. In a way, I kind of rebelled. But fortunately, I grew out of that stage. Although, I still love to be a party girl and take more shots than anyone at the party, and I will occasionally (once every other month or so) smoke when I want to wind down and relax.
I say, experiment. No your limit. Make sure you know when enough is enough. I say live your life and have fun doing it. Just don't let drugs and alcohol take over your life. Don't spend every pay check on several cases of beer and an ounce. Have some common sense and be smart about what you're doing.
I understand that these substances can cause addiction, and this is why you need to be able to limit yourself. Don't take it too far; no when enough is enough.
